"The occurrence of alcohol use condition in both teams in 2018 was approximately fifty percent of what it remained in 2002. We are excited to find out about these decrease in disordered drinking, as alcohol-related repercussions are among the prominent reasons for death and morbidity for young people."
Coauthor Ty Schepis, teacher of psychology at Texas Specify College, says "despite increases in cannabis use condition and co-use of alcohol and cannabis, there's a great deal of hope in our study's outcomes."
"Factors of concern that deserve more attention are the rise in co-use of alcohol and cannabis, as we understand that polysubstance use can have more unfavorable repercussions and be harder to treat," he says.
